MAFEX involves mostly heavies, such as C-130 and C-17. Keno Airstrip or the various drop zones around Cedar Pipeline Ranch would probably be a good spot. Or the takeoff/recovery end of the Nellis runways, if you don't mind "gear down" shots. You can listen to the Nellis ATIS at 270.100 MHz for the "hot" end of the runway.
