The best photos we've ever seen, taken from Tikaboo Peak, we're accomplished by 5 Texas policemen who were on vacation, just a few years ago. These folks were physically fit enough to haul a Celestron 8" telescope and tripod to the peak. It was outfitted with a CCD imaging device and the photos were transferred into their laptop computer.

We were all staying at the same motel, in Alamo, and they showed us detailed photos of Area 51 that had to be seen to be believed. They were of excellent quality.

If you can lift an even larger telescope up to the Tikaboo Peak, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with what you see.
