If you have ever been in Tonopah you know that there are almost more cops than civilians on the streets. Well, turns out they are very nice and helpful guys:
A friend and I stayed at the OK Corrall recently, and had a few beers at the Station House across town. Enough that we did not quite feel comfortable driving back to the motel. Well, get this: A few locals that we met there called a cop cruiser, and the officer actually gave us a ride to the motel in his cruiser. He did not even mind my friends two rather big dogs in the back. Said he rather give us a ride this way...
