Most large shipping companies have several drivers who are bonded and insured to drive classified shipments. They also follow very specific instructions. Once they reach the site they either leave their trailor in a receiving area or they have an escort accompany them to the specific drop point. They never know what they are carrying beyond the DOT forms. When shipping smaller items, the items are usually sent to a drop shipment location where they are forwarded to a shipper who is cleared for access to the secure location. Hope this is helpful.
