Lockheed Skunk Works has made a small flying version of their proposed Hybrid Unmanned Air Vehicle (HUAV)that is designed to "blend buoyant and aerodynamic lift to achieve payload capacity at 2,500 lb @ 20,000 ft. MSL, 12,000 lb at 10,000 ft MSL for 14-21 days". It has been flow out of Palmdale. It is essentially a three-cell blimp that has eight shrouded and swiveling fans for propulsion and maneuvering. Maybe they made a big one too?
