I noticed that www.google.com has an image search page. I did a search on "area 51" and there were too many hits to make it useful. However, a search on Tonopah turned up this link to a bus museum somewhere in Northern California. The page has a bit of history of a particular bus that was used for the NTS, and mentions that the US government had quite an extensive bus line in the 1960 serving the NTS. This leads to a few questions. Who has the bus line contract for the Area 51 white bus? Where do they post the request for bids to get this contract? If you had this contract, that would be one sure way to get past the warning signs. ;-) It is likely that there is a retired "white bus" or two out there. If someone ever wanted to do a tour service, driving the customers from Vegas to Rachel in a former white bus would be very cool.
