The Era of the Demonstrators.

Technology has multiplied to the point that, the answers they seek no longer require huge costly programs. Computers are playing key roles in flight development.

Have we seen the last of the big secret programs like Archangel and Have Blue?

Have the super computers reached a point in saving the tremendous cost, risk to secrecy, personnel, and the environment?

We have seen the various demonstrators come in with excitement only to fissile out into obscurity.

What will come after the Demonstrators? Artificial intelligence, robots?

Future generations may only wonder what it was like to have men risk their lives in the quest to test the designs of a dreamer.

When I look at the faces of these heroes I feel as though we never will see them again.

What will the future hold for aerial test programs and the brave, skillful men in their flying machines?
