Is it possible the a/c was doing RCS work similar to the t43 that was modified and did the work on the B-2 (there's a photo of it over death valley). Also, NASA's U2 (NASA806) was south of Death Valley doing ovals during 18 Aug and was flying outside the range, west and north on 19 Aug...Launched from KEDW. Seems like too much of a coincidence.
