This comes up so often we should just have a response in the FAQ. Not a bad question but the answer is NO.
Why? 1. It is about 28 miles from the gates to the base, not many RC units (non-military) can reach that distance. 2. The base would first take out the drone, then come and arrest you. That is a 100% certainty. After 9/11 even something that might be a harmless stunt would be taken deadly seriously. 3. Since the base is hardened to ensure that nothing is visible to overhead imagry, seeing anything worth mentioning would be pure luck. You'd do better to kick in $100.00 next time we ante up for a satellite picture.
