My father flew this bird from 69-73 from Kirkland AFB. I'm not sure if he can, but I have tried to get him to write about some of his missions. He has told me little things about the confusion they caused with civilian controllers not used to a plane coming in from 80,000 ft and the length of time it takes to desend. We as a family got to go through the process of him preparing for a flight, pre-flight check by the flight surgeon, meal, suit up and ride to the plane then watch him take off.
