Thanks, got the jpg. The scar is interesting. It is exactly aligned with Groom and the two fires I saw. OTOH, there are similar features near the top of the wash, to the SW. Hard to say with the GE resolution whether its a natural feature or not, but certainly an interesting observation. It would be interesting to look at aerial images taken in late 1999 or 2000...
