Not sure I understand what the question is. Are you saying that the road thru the back gate doesn't go to the base so it shouldn't have a sign? The back gate (Rachel Gate)road does go to the base thus the sign. Please read the links on the left as they are filled with maps and info. If I didnt interpret it correctly please repost.
