Thanks Peter, for the proper name for the photo I posted. But my question was actually: what are the six white objects I listed locations for? Cinetheodolites or an entirely different animal? It would definitely make sense to have a few strung along the range to track test aircraft.

If so I would imagine Edwards AFB would have a few as well?
