I think many people associate that sign 'Use of deadly force authorized' just with Area 51 mistique. Actually it is a very common sign at many military installations all over the country and has been for quite some time. I have numerous pictures taken at other USAF bases with the sign in the background. Even the closest Air National Guard base in my area uses that sign........
