Well if you are right then that cost a good part of a F-22 to build because it is ridiculous. However I really can't believe that the AF types couldn't use existing Nellis facilities M-F instead of leveling, grading, paving and maintaining a stretch of A51 desert. However, that kind of "typical" facility would mean that A51 is or is becoming a fully functional AF installation that bespeaks of an operational, not flight test mission.
