The land it's on is public (gov't) land. There is no compellation to unveil it in any way. If A51 were ever replaced by some other facility somewhere else, the remnants of A51 would be largely burned down/destructed/collapsed/buried. What is the motivation of the gov't to suddenly open up a vast sprawling "secret" base where nothing of serious note occurred for the public. Zero. It goes under the rug, if ever made public, and becomes part of a Natioanal Forest or the Atomic Testing Area off limits due to radiation.


In short, no civilian will walkabout the area we know as A51 over the next century on arrowhead hunts while in a national park. WILL NOT HAPPEN.


It's secure a locked down. No one posting today on this board will ever walk upon the grounds we today know as Area 51.
