I noticed that hangar orientation in the 2007 image as well. Actually it does align with something else on the base. If you pass a line through the hangar from lower left to upper right it is exactly perpendicular to the angled taxiway; conversely that means that the taxiway line that goes through the hangar is exactly parallel to the angled taxiway.

What does this mean? Not sure, but one possibility is that whatever 'test article' is in the hangar can have some flight instruments 'pre-aligned' with that taxiway heading before even leaving the hangar. If the item is a UAV, maybe it taxis out to the angled taxiway, hangs a right and then just uses the taxiway as a runway and takes off. One of just many possibilities...
