Not sure if the Nellis track could be seen from the new Nellis fence line. It should be visible at about 5 miles distance from the Apex Rd which runs from the extended LV Blvd. (past Apex) along the RR tracks to some mining ops and eventually connects to Lk Mead Blvd. I have never taken that road, so I don't know if it is a poblic road. A short hike up one of the hills along that road may be required. Anyone with a good pair of binoculars and some time to spend?
