I was looking at the dirt road which is the northern boundary of the new racetrack. There are a number of black "pi" shaped objects along the northern edge of this road. I think these objects are the poles supporting the powerlines into Area 51. They look like the typical configuration of a pair of creosoted telephone poles spaced about 6-8 feet apart, with a cross piece at the top to hold the insulators to which the powerlines are attached. Can anyone confirm the powerlines do in fact come in along side the main road through Gate 700?
