not sure if this has been mentioned, but it looks like those "bumpers" extend right to the runway. i think it's notable that the taxiway does not lead to the end of the runway but instead dumps off about 1/10 of the way down. could the new resident be svtol capable? the flipside to the bumper idea is the distance between the taxi line and the hanger. as mentioned that suggests a sizable wingspan. if those bumpers are raised or even inflatable, something with that kind of wingspan would either be unable to pass or it would be viewable from any angle.
