I think the dirt lot you are referring to is the one across the road from the shipping and receiving facility. It is used to park delivery trucks and road maintenance equipment. Also, I believe some drivers that are not cleared to drive into the base on their own park their vehicles here. Sort of a park-and-ride for occasional visitors from the NTS. The area can be seen behind H-4 thru 6 from Tikaboo.
