Hangars 4, 5, 6, and 7 on the North Ramp were used for A-12 test aircraft, YF-12A, MD-21, Red Hats aircraft, and G.H.O.S.T Squadron helicopters. There were likely others, as well, that we don't know about yet. Operational A-12s were housed in Hangars 9 through 16 on the Southend. These hangars were later used for HAVER BLUE and SENIOR TREND (YF-117A). Hangar 17 housed SENIOR PROM and its C-130 launch aircraft. Hangar 8 was used for TACIT BLUE. Hangars 20 through 23 were originally built for TAC F-117A aircraft during acceptance testing.
