Yep, I know that is not the Osprey. Here is the story I was reading when I thought back to the posts last March. The article made me think about the Osprey being at Groom. In my original post, I forgot to post the link to the story. I only posted the photo. Sorry! It was definitely the V-22 that killed the 30 Marines who died in the various crashes. Production and engineering mistakes made the aircraft a nightmare to maintain and to fly. I am sure the V-22 would not be tested at Groom specifically because of a minigun. It sounds more like it was a special ops version testing the radar.
