Gary, if you are saying that this is a time to suspend being a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Clinton-hater, etc., in favor of being an American, you are right. What the world fails to see is when we as a country are threatened, we can and will drop all of our petty squabbling and focus on the threat as a family, a team, and as brothers and sisters. I'm sure the firefighters that were climbing the stairs in the Twin Towers just before the collapse didn't pause to ask the political parties of the idividuals they gave their lives to try to save. Nor should we. Hon. Lee did what she what she thought best, the simple fact she stands alone may show her courage, but also shows her lack of understanding of what the American people want, and for that the position she holds as a "representative" should be removed from her. Brave yes, smart no. If this was a Republican I'd feel the same.
