In recent years I am not getting the units/countries in reply to my annual FOIA request any more, only the dates. The units, or at least the aircraft types and home base, are usually published a couple of weeks before the exercise on the Nellis web site. As soon as the information is available we add it to our Red Flag section. The sortie times are only published, as NOTAMS, a couple of days before the start of the exercise.
