I am not aware of any evidence for sensors on the road to the Tikaboo trail head, or along the trail. But it is entirely possible that there are sensors there. The problem would be that a relay on public land is needed to get the signal to Bald Mtn or into the base.

I have seen test flights at night while up there with a group of people that did not even try to be stealthy. Of course, all you see is a light take off, and then be turned off as soon as the aircraft is airborne. Daytime tests may be a different story, though.
