I was going by the vertical "feature" on the tower face as photographed. I had assumed it to be one of the vertices, but it could be just a “feature”.

Me too. No buildings. In addition the desert is pretty fragile and in the current GE image I can’t see any evidence of long trench runs that could either provide an significant amount of power to the tower or interconnects from the tower back to lets say DYCOMS for example.
