Yes, I agree. If they had a patent on a stealth blimp in 1982 then they must have been kicking the idea around for awhile several years before the patent was approved and it takes a couple of years to get a patent approved. Also military patents can be secret so we really don't know every design that is patented. I would think they would have made some progress in 27 years. Although the trail seems to indicate that this work has been on again off again during this period. If there is a heavy lifting stealth blimp then I would expect to hear of strange sightings near AFB's that do alot of logistical support. Could the blimp pose as an inflatible hanger during the daytime? Just some wild speculation on this. I would tend to believe that someone is flying some sort of stealth blimp.
