The U-2 aircraft were housed in three hangars on the North Ramp, later called buildings 214, 217, and 220. Building 214 no longer exists.

The A-12, YF-12A, and M-21 test aircraft used the four big hangars (H-4, 5. 6, and 7) on the North Ramp. Beginning in 1968, these were also used for the Red Hats aircraft (MiG-17, MiG-21, MiG-23, etc. Hangar 2, also on the North Ramp was used for Red Hats storage.

The CIA A-12 aircraft were housed in hangars 9 through 16 on the Southend Ramp. These same hangars were later used for HAVE BLUE and the YF-117A.

Tactical Air Command production F-117A aircraft undergoing acceptance testing were originally housed in five "Rubber Duck" temporary aircraft shelters on the east side of the Southend Ramp. These were later replaced with Butler-type metal buildings (hangars 20 though 23).

Hangar 17 was used for SENIOR PROM and its NC-130B launch aircraft.

Hangar 8 was used for TACIT BLUE and the AGM-137 Tri-Service Standoff Attack Missile (TSSAM).
