Nice article.

I still don't know what "happened" in and around Stephenville last year. Lot's of people swear up-and-down they saw something that can't be explained. Others saw nothing and spent a lot of time looking up at night because of the hubbub. Nothing truly material or unquestionable has surfaced from that time.

But, Brownwood MOA???? Why would the USAF pick that sight for exotic systems testing? It's not exactly isolated or sparsely populated.....Brown, Erath, Comanche counties have significant populations and daily traffic. Civilian airline traffic to/from DFW is significant. There are certainly better places in the U.S., under military control, with less potential for civilian observation to conduct sensitive operations. Groom.....western Utah range....etc. Doing weird stuff over towns of 20,000+ and IH 20 doesn't seem the best way to hide a sensitive weapons test.

T-38s from Sheppard AFB fly over our ranch in Stephens County (not very far from this episode) weekly as part of their training patterns.........we see F-16s and F-18s mostly from FW JRB.....the occasional B-1 from Dyess.....C-130s (usually in groups of 2-4) from both Dyess and JRB......but I've never seen anything weird over the many years of being there and watching the sky. T-38s don't indicate secret activity it seems.

So, Brownwood MOA being the epicenter of a sudden spike in intense secret military testing of unusual systems in January of 2008 that spawned this event? Posh.
