There is a huge amount of declassified info about the A12 and U2 programs on the CIA website. Everything from details of actual mission flow, to an insight on why/how the A12 program was canceled, early test flight data including summaries of major milestones/problems, accidents, to the actual flight manuals. Go to cia.gov. Click on FOIA (down at the bottom of the page). Best overall search terms are "oxcart", "a12", and "a12 manual". Here are a few highlights:

For example search for "bx6734" - analysis of the SAM missile launches against Dennis Sullivan. Very interesting reading. When Dennis tells the story he isn't exaggerating..

Or search for "bx6847" - the A12 hunt for (and discovery) of USS Pueblo.

Or search for "a12 manual". You will find all 400+ pages of the A12 Flight manual with diagrams, instrument layouts, photo's, charts, operational considerations - all we need are the keys... Just for fun have a look at CIA page 232 (manual page 4-38). See anything interesting??

NO?
