i've seen one of these, just 3 lights none in center that i recall, no lasers, about 10 years ago at 4am in Montreal.
i didnt think it was alien then either, recon is first word popped in my head, maybe i was right. too unimpressive to be alien, i'll say its alien when its a good 5 miles large at least.
