Well, they know what they're doing when it comes to hiding these things, then. After commercial takeoffs stopped, all I saw were the balloons that some news agencies had in the air, the official helicopters, and one white speck of a plane way up there. Unfortunately, it didn't make it into any of my photos.

Who knows if the F-22s or other aircraft were circulating right around the capital.. but if they were within the horizon, I didn't catch anything (and I was trying to see them!).

Although I didn't get to go out and look, for one reason or another, the pentagon metro station had a "no photography" sign in several places as I rode through. Perhaps interesting sensing equipment? Or is this usual practice for the pentagon?
