You should put that story on your website. Yeah, I know you don't update it any more, but it is a good story.

The road to the top seems exceptionally rocky, more so than the native terrain. I've driven on some of the other nearby hills and they are like quicksand, while brainwash is like a rock quarry.

There are a few interesting things on top of the hill. There are two "markers", which I think are USGS. [BTW, the other view spot near the gate has a DMA marker (defense mapping agency), which is the only place I have ever seen one.] There is a hunk of metal that supposedly was used as a radar target. And of course, there is "our lady of brainwash butte". Is there a story behind the BVM?

I've studied the topo maps, and I believe you need much more height to see into area 19. It would be possible to see area 19 if you had the gumption to climb Kawich Peak (to the east of brainwash).
