This is typical of the mentality of developers in the Las Vegas valley. All they're concerned about is the money and to hell with anyone or anything else. McCarran airport is suffering because of the unrestrained development in the valley. Many military bases around the country have been closed because of encroachment of housing, even though the bases were there first. Maybe this economic "downturn" will slow the growth for a while, giving Nellis a respite in their fight to keep at least ONE flight path open where pilots can take off fully armed.
