Sorry to hear about the loss of the F-18 and more importantly the fatalities -military and or civilian... Joerg and I visited the F-15D that crashed during Red Flag 08-3, shortly after the incident. And then the F-4 near Rachel because I was never there before. It is very interesting to sift thru the bits and pieces especially the F-4. That bugger has been there since 1979 and you can still read part numbers off of some of the bits. However, you then remember people died here in a very tragic way and then it is very humbling. All the wreckage left like a shrine in the desert hopefully to stand the test of time...
