There is a gate there. Its next to the guard shack but well inside the border. I believe that anyone that can cross the border after seeing 6 signs that tell you not to in very explicit terms shouldn't be surprised at the consequences. As far as the $600.00 is concerned I think that the Cammos that patrol the area are probably not on commission.
