Sealing off one avenue here, I contacted the Swiss Mountain Bat, who saw a plane from Tikaboo on or about 9 September 1999. The Bat says that the plane he saw had no indication of swing wings. I believe he claims what he saw was a delta with tailfins and large rectangular-shaped exhausts. The full details of the sighting are reported in the March 2000 issue of Aircraft Illustrated.
