Does anyone have info about the second airframe that was built back when "Willy The Whale" Tacit Blue was flying tests? According to Ken Dyson's lecture at Wright Patterson there were actually two airframes built. If Northrop had the F-23 widows put on display wouldn't they probably do the same for Tacit Blue 2? I wonder if it ever got to Area 51 or flew for that matter? Or perhaps it is flying today? My thinking on this is simple, 1. when you build a stealth aircraft you fly it into radar and measure the return, 2. when you build another aircraft you test it per step one and compare it to the known standard test block. Much like NDI testing standard test blocks and such. Anyone with knowledge of Tacit Blue II???
