Technically, there is one dirt road where the border is only marked with orange posts. But it is so remote that I doubt the people at the Inn will even know it exists. You are lucky if they even get the directions to Groom Lake Road right there. The statement that it is all private ranch land is not true. The land from the Hwy up to the restricted area is public land, free for anyone to access (please drive on existing roads only) and to camp. The local rancher only has the grazing rights. Hanging up on the kids, effectively denying the ladies help in distress, is a matter I would look into very closely, if I were the two ladies...
