Considering I had the lens focused on infinity to take a photo of the TTR airport I doubt that dust or a spider on the lens would be in focus, or even visible in the photo.
Garys suggestion of a bird carrying a dead bird makes a lot of sense. But if this is a bird I see a lot of wings but hardly any body.
