Today I was monitoring earthquakes on http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/ and noticed a decent seismic movement in the Nevada Test Site. I got the details on it and used the given co-ordinates in Google Earth from http://quake.wr.usgs.gov/recenteqs/Quakes/nn00245374.html to see if it was in an interesting area. I found that it occurred at the south end of the runways at the Groom Lake Facility. The earthquake apparently happened 5 miles under the desert floor, so I concluded that there is some sort of underground activity directly under the airfield. I decided to make my first post here because I know this will be an interesting discussion among underground base "theorists".
