The reason you may find military aircraft at civilian airports especially on weekends is that the airbases are closed Saturdays and Sundays and they have made a deal with the local FBO to do gas and goes. I have seen fighters at McCarran also. I have seen F16s and A10s here at Scottsdale Airport on weekends. Luke AFB is closed during that time and aircraft that train in the Goldwater Ranges refuel there.
