Good catch. It is, or was, a radio repeater site. I took this photo of it about two years ago. It looks like the antennas have been removed. From locals I hear that it has been that way for a while. Looks like it was designed to carry fairly heavy antennas. The location in the saddle could indicate that it was used as a relay from Groom to the north, into the northern part of Sand Spring Valley, the Quinn Canyon Range or the Worthington Mountains.
