Ok now you got my attention with the meteors. Are you saying you see them on the ground or in the air? One of the things I would like to eventually to do is hunt for meteorites. I hear dry lake beds are a good place to start. This is good because this segues into a question I thought about for a long time. I see on the map a part of Mud Lake is in the TTR. How well is the South East corner of Mud Lake protected if at all? I would imagine there would be a good chance of finding one in the restricted area.

My back up plan if Tikaboo was still snowed in, was to drive up to Tonopah and Mud Lake for a look.
