Kick ass story loop! While it adds a lot to the mystic of the place, it is not a far cry from the times I have seen fellow ammo troops get taken to the ground with M-16's for accidentaly straying into the secure perimeter around a weapon without going through a checkpoint with their security credentials. Just more testimony to the layers of security around a secret device or facility.
