In Vegas the Hotels do Not provide shuttles so it's a generic shuttle down the lenght of the Strip or a Taxi...or a Rent-a-Car. As cheap as some of the Rent-a-Cars are if booked in advance with some sort of member discount this is what I almost always do.....Just makes it easy to go and do what ever you decide to do so much easier. Vegas is easy to get around and Nellis AFB is just to the NE of town.....right on the way to Rachel.
The Atomic Energy Museum is quite good..... The janet terminal is a real easy find...Just off the south end of the strip just east of the Mandalay & Luxor.
