Area 51 tested neither nukes or bioweapons. Nuclear testing took place at the Nevada Test Site, Pacific Proving Ground, and various off-site locations in the continental U.S. and Alaska. Biological warfare tests took place at other locations such as Dugway Proving Ground, I believe. Area 51 is just a test site for aircraft and advanced conventional weapons.
