I found flights with unknown owners, and unknown airlines, that fly from McCarran to Tonopah and they fly over the groom lake area. This can be found at www.flightaware.com , a site I used at the airport I worked at to track our private jets. To the left you will see "Dont know the flight number?" , select that then input for example Origin=KLAS Destination=KTNX and you will find several WWW### flights. For example WWW321 is a Boeing 737-200 with departure/arrival times, flight path going over groom lake area, and yet the site doesn't say its airline. Maybe it is worth looking in to, I am not an expert on any of this I just found it interesting. You can also look up a few of the tail numbers listed on this site and can find flights such as their beachcraft going to palmdale etc. Maybe Janets maybe not, you take a look and decide.
