I'm now looking at it with GE on my laptop. (My home machine doesn't do GE very well; cheap video card.) But I still don't see the greyed out area. There is a very smooth area, like it was scraped, but with evenly spaced small dirt mounds or holes as though they were building a fence around a rectangle. That whole area seems under contruction. (And they ran out of blue paint.) From the topo maps on Acme, it seems the whole mock up site could be seen from public land along Corn Creek Road. I've never been there but some on this site have and might know if that's possible. Might be interesting.
